Tristan (2 years old) on life support in ICU, August 9th, 2005 after being shot

The bullet wound that almost killed Tristan
He is now permanently blind and has severe brain damage
He is also deaf and cannot use his right hand
He will never live independently
He was shot by his daddy with a 12 gage shot gun with deadly double 00 buckshot
That ammunition is used by law enforcement only if
absolutely necessary as a take down shot
the buckshot in one shell is equal to 9 38 caliber bullets from a handgun
Now, imagine what that would do to an innocent baby...

These beautiful children who I still love as my own
had to go through hell waiting to see if
their daddy would live or die. Can you possibly imagine
what that must have been like for them?
I dont have to imagine, I was there for them and will never forget
the look of desperation and extreme fear and grief combined in those young eyes
and why?
Why did Richard Guidry feel the need to shoot an innocent man?
